About Deborah Bindler

Deborah Bindler, LCSW is an experienced, licensed psychotherapist, life and relationship coach in private practice in Chicago.

She received her graduate degree in clinical social work from Loyola University after leaving a career in publishing sales and marketing. She decided to add guided imagery and coaching to her practice when she discovered how powerfully it impacts others in making conscious choices affecting mind, body and spirit…leading to better health, personal and professional growth.

Her years of business, clinical and coaching experience include certification in Interactive Guided Imagery (sm) EMDR, hypnotherapy, life and relationship coaching.

She completed two internships in hospital settings in Chicago, and worked in the employee assistance field as a counselor and wellness workshop presenter, and in clinical practice settings. She has worked with individuals, couples and groups on issues relating to stress-management, self-esteem, relationships, communication and coping skills, personal and career transitions.

Deborah has been coaching since 2000, is a graduate of The Institute for Life Coach Training, certified as a Relationship Coach for singles through the Relationship Coaching Institute, and has taken basic coach training with the renown Coach Training Institute (CTI). She is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF). She has taught workshops and classes at Unity Chicago, Parker Evening Courses, Latin School Live and Learn Program, Highlife Adventures and for private groups and organizations. She has been featured on Channel 5 Morning News and in the Chicago Tribune.

She is known by her clients for her warmth, humor and ability to cut to the chase to identify what gets in the way of reaching their desired goals. Life Choices is an environment of safety and authenticity where you will receive honest feedback and attain greater clarity. You will learn to work with your fears, and learn new tools and strategies to overcome them.
